Do you have any news you’d like to share with the Pacific Gourmet community?
After hitting the ground running with sold-out pop-up events, serving over 10,000 guests with Istanbul Modern SF, the couple put plans in place to open their first restaurant, Noosh. Noosh showcases a familiar rendition of Eastern Mediterranean through the lens of California ingredients, delivering a refined, yet casual cuisine rooted in community and creativity.
What are some of your favorite Pacific Gourmet products?:
Our favorite products at Pacific Gourmet are the Urfa, Aleppo, and Marash pepper flakes. We also love their pure pistachio paste.
Why do you enjoy working with Pacific Gourmet?:
We like Pacific Gourmet because of the predictable ordering process, consistency, and it’s great product selection.

Husband and wife team Chefs Laura (originally from Mexico) and Sayat Ozyilmaz (originally from Turkey) will open their debut restaurant, Noosh, early 2019 in San Francisco. They met at CIA and after realizing their shared dream of creating community through cuisine, they embarked on a multi-city honeymoon, setting up a series of two dozen stages with renowned restaurants including: Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, and Pujol in Mexico City. The trip ended in San Francisco, where Laura joined Saison’s three-Michelin-star team and Sayat joined the Michelin star Mourad team. The couple has now partnered for the wildly popular Istanbul Modern SF and their newest venture Noosh.
