For 18 years, Karen’s Bakery Café has been taking care to create memorable food in a relaxed environment. Catering has been an important part of the foundation of Karen’s business. From the beginning, Karen’s has had a high-end catering arm that serves many customers throughout the Folsom and Sacramento area. Events with delicious, customized menus make every catered event extra special.
Although Karen’s began in year 2000 as a catering business, shortly after opening it sprouted two natural branches: a European inspired, completely-from-scratch bakery and a fresh-is-best seasonal café. Everything is made with lots of hands-on attention to details, fresh each day, and using both traditional and new, innovative techniques.
Karen’s Bakery Café has become a solid part of the community and a destination spot in the Folsom area. On any given day, you can find high-level business meetings, amateur and professional bike groups, ladies coffee talks, or friends’ meet-ups, all drawn by the love of great food in a casual setting.
